Forter Castle is one of my all time favourite wedding venues. It is only a 40 minute drive from Dundee but feels like a million miles away. It is so remote and quiet with background noises of sheep and birds tweeting and views of miles and miles of un-spoilt countryside.

Colin and Toni came from Australia to have their wedding here which I think was a great online shopping choice! An elopement to a Scottish Castle is always a good choice if you ask me!

I love how dark and cosy the bridal suite is in the Castle. Toni did her own hair and make-up with the help of her Mum and Sister.

Meanwhile Colin's Mum came from Seattle to sort him out!

The ceremony was outside in the Castle grounds, which made a stunning backdrop for photos :)

The ceremony kicked off with a song Colin had made for Toni. He enlisted her Dad to be his Guitarist and I think she like it... Poppy the dog definitely did!

Once the knot was tied and papers were signed, the guests all went inside to warm up while we took some photos outside before the rain came on!

It was such a relaxed and happy wedding, I probably don't need to say that, you can tell by the photos! There was a bit of confetti action during the group shot as well....

Toni and Colin got a nice warm welcome on their return and sat down for dinner with their guests and a few speeches.

"The photos are perfect! Thank you so much!"
