Taypark House is definitely one of the best spots in the west end of Dundee to enjoy a drink in the sunshine, so it was a good choice for Lewis and Katie to book their wedding there on a Saturday in August. The sun was out, the seating was in place for an outdoor ceremony and Katie and her bridal party were upstairs getting ready....

I loved Katie's look on the day, the red lips and flower crown looked beautiful with her dress....

Meanwhile downstairs, Lewis and his Best Man were greeting the guests and getting everyone in place for the ceremony to start.

Katie was being walked down the aisle by Uncle, following her Bridesmaids and the cutest of Flower Kids...

It was a lovely, personalised Humanist ceremony by Tegan Elder...

After a bit of handfasting, signing and a kiss it was time to party!

After some congratulations and catching up with their guests, they brought out the special VIP guest... their rescue Bull Terrier, Roxy!

After cuddling Roxy and getting some photos, we decided we should probably get some of of the newlyweds on their own too!

The wedding breakfast was being held in The Stables, a lovely part of the hotel. They also have a TukTuk to give you a lift along the driveway, which was definitely appreciated by guests wearing heels!

Some great speeches before the meal. Taypark House had prepared a bespoke veggie menu at their request (which was a real treat for me as I've sometimes been given a plate of carrots or a slice of bread as a meal at weddings!)

After the cake was cut and Roxy got to come and say hello again, it was time to head back to the main area of the hotel for the evening reception...

Soon the dancing was underway, the band had the dancefloor full from the start and everyone was having a great time!
