I was lucky to photograph Danielle and Sam's small but colourful wedding at The Quay, Dundee recently. When they first contacted me, they told me they were looking for "more war photography than glamour", I loved this description and knew then we'd get along! The wedding was also a celebration of their 21 years together so it was extra special. Here are some highlights of their day....
When I arrived at The Quay, it was a sunny day and the ladies had decorated the venue with lots of bright colours :)
Danielle and Sam met all their guests as they arrived
Both brides were walked down the aisle by their own parent, who stood with them during the ceremony.
I loved the rainbow ribbons they used for tying the knot.
The Quay has a bridge outside that is handy for photos, it is next to the Dundee waterfront area so we took a walk down to the riverside.
After a wee photo shoot, we went back to the Quay where the guests were all catching up and enjoying a few drinks.
The speeches were both funny and touching! Afterwards everyone headed upstairs for the cake cutting and dinner...
