Stephanie and Barry's wedding day was on one of the hottest days of the year, it was already so sunny in the morning that the girls were getting their hair and makeup done outside in the garden when I arrived to take some photos of them getting ready...
I've photographed lots of weddings at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Dundee, back when it was the Landmark Hotel or even the Swallow Hotel. It has always been popular, mainly for the beautiful, huge gardens and the Bride and Groom had chosen to have an outdoor ceremony...
After the ceremony, all the guests stayed out for canapes and drinks in the gardens and we got some group photos...
They were keen to take their wedding car out for a photo shoot so we headed up to Templeton Woods for some photos...
When they first starting going out, Barry and Stephanie had put a love lock with their names on at the view point over the Tay, they had bought a new one with their wedding details so we went down to the City Quay. It took a while to find the old padlock but the new one now hangs next to it!
When we got back to the Hotel, the guests were being seated for dinner in the Conservatory and the newlyweds made the entrance for the speeches...
It was still sunny after dinner, the guests were heading over to the reception suite for the evening entertainment to start...
I loved this cake that was made by Stephanie's friend! The first dance was also very cute with Stephanie's son joining in on the action :)
