Fife has the best DIY wedding venues in Scotland, from country houses to farms to castles, these venues are surrounded by seaside views and harbour villages. To save you a bit of google time, I've made a list of wedding photographer favourites:
- Cambo House - mansion house, walled gardens, courtyard, woods and a path to the beach. Literally everything you could ever want in a wedding venue and more!
- The Cow Shed - set on farmland just outside Crail this is a beautiful, bright blank canvas to make your own with brilliant onsite accommodation thrown in.
- The Rhynd - another farm favourite on the edge of the stunning Tentsmuir forest and beach which is the perfect spot for your couple shoot.
- Kinkell Byre - a cosy, fairy lit barn on the outskirts of St Andrews, the prettiest town for photos on the East coast.
- Crail Village Hall - big windows, classic church hall features, bargain hire price and a short walk to a gorgeous harbour and beach.
- The Den at Culross - an exciting new addition handy for Edinburgh and Glasgow, Culross is a beautiful village with cobbled streets as seen on Outlander.
- Falside Mill - another recent opening, this is a fantastic restoration of an old steading with views looking over miles of countryside near pretty Kingsbarns.
- Myres Castle - totally unique mix of a castle, stunning gardens and their own barnaquee for you rustic DIYers.
- Backhouse Rossie - Another new venue for weddings, this has the best kept gardens for photos, views and versatile barn space indoors.
Hope this list helps you find the perfect venue to make your own. You can browse weddings from some of these venues below. Once you have booked your venue, you can find out more about wedding photography and films here.
